Shipping Policy

Last updated: June 16 2026

Thank you for visiting SteelPrepUSA. This Shipping Policy explains how shipping, freight delivery, processing times, delivery inspections, and damage claims are handled for orders placed through SteelPrepUSA.com.

SteelPrepUSA sells commercial food equipment and related products that may ship by parcel carrier, freight carrier, or directly from a supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or warehouse partner.

Order Processing

Orders are processed after payment is received and order details are confirmed. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, supplier processing time, warehouse handling, freight scheduling, and the customer’s delivery location.

If additional information is needed to process an order, such as delivery requirements, freight access details, liftgate needs, or confirmation of product specifications, SteelPrepUSA may contact the customer before shipment.

Shipping Timeframes

Shipping and delivery timeframes shown on SteelPrepUSA.com are estimates only unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. Estimated delivery times may vary due to product availability, supplier processing, freight carrier scheduling, weather, holidays, delivery location, and other conditions outside of SteelPrepUSA’s direct control.

If SteelPrepUSA learns that an order cannot ship within the stated timeframe, or within the required timeframe if no shipping timeframe was provided, we will contact the customer with updated information and available options, which may include waiting for the order, modifying the order, or canceling the order for a refund when applicable.

Freight Shipments

Large commercial equipment may ship by freight carrier. Freight shipments are different from standard parcel deliveries and may require delivery scheduling with the carrier.

Freight delivery may be curbside only unless otherwise stated. Inside delivery, installation, setup, unpacking, debris removal, stairs, elevators, limited-access delivery, liftgate service, and residential delivery may require additional fees or may not be available for all shipments.

Customers are responsible for making sure the delivery location can safely receive the shipment. This includes confirming address accuracy, driveway or dock access, business hours, phone number, email address, and any special delivery requirements.

Delivery Appointment and Contact Information

For freight shipments, the carrier may contact the customer by phone or email to schedule delivery. Customers should make sure the phone number and email address provided at checkout are correct.

Missed delivery appointments, incorrect addresses, refused deliveries, storage fees, re-delivery fees, limited-access fees, or other carrier-related charges caused by incomplete or incorrect customer information may be the customer’s responsibility.

Inspecting Freight Deliveries

Customers must inspect all freight deliveries before signing the delivery receipt.

Before accepting delivery, check for:

Damaged packaging
Crushed corners
Torn wrap
Broken pallet
Visible dents or damage
Missing items
Signs that the shipment was mishandled

If damage is visible, note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt before signing. Example: “Box crushed on left side” or “Pallet damaged, possible concealed damage.”

Do not sign the delivery receipt as clear if the shipment appears damaged. Signing without noting damage may limit the ability to file a freight damage claim.

Freight Damage Claims

If a shipment arrives damaged, contact SteelPrepUSA as soon as possible through our contact form. Include the order number, delivery date, photos of the packaging, photos of the product, photos of the pallet if applicable, and a copy or photo of the delivery receipt.

Damage claims are time-sensitive. Customers should report visible or concealed freight damage within 48 hours of delivery whenever possible.

SteelPrepUSA will help review the issue and may coordinate with the supplier, manufacturer, distributor, warehouse, or freight carrier when applicable. Damage claim approval, replacement parts, replacement equipment, refund eligibility, or carrier reimbursement may depend on the carrier’s claim process, supplier requirements, manufacturer policies, and the condition of the delivery documentation.

Refused Deliveries

Customers should not refuse a delivery without contacting SteelPrepUSA unless the shipment is severely damaged or unsafe to accept.

Refusing a shipment without approval may result in return freight charges, storage fees, re-delivery fees, restocking fees, or other costs that may be deducted from any eligible refund.

If a shipment appears damaged, the customer should document the damage, note it on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact SteelPrepUSA for next steps.

Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. SteelPrepUSA is not responsible for delays, fees, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses.

If an order is returned, delayed, stored, or re-routed because of customer-provided address issues, additional fees may apply.

Product Availability and Supplier Fulfillment

Some products may ship directly from a supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or warehouse partner. Product availability, handling times, shipping methods, freight requirements, and delivery dates may vary by product and supplier.

SteelPrepUSA may contact the customer if an item becomes unavailable, delayed, discontinued, backordered, or requires additional confirmation before shipment.

Parcel Shipments

Smaller items may ship by parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another carrier. Tracking information may be provided when available.

Once a parcel carrier marks an item as delivered, customers should check the delivery location, mailbox, front desk, receiving area, neighbors, or building office if the package is not immediately located.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs, freight charges, liftgate fees, residential delivery fees, limited-access fees, and other delivery-related charges may vary by product, location, carrier, and delivery requirements.

If additional shipping or freight charges are required after checkout, SteelPrepUSA may contact the customer before processing the order.

No Installation Included Unless Stated

Shipping does not include installation, electrical work, plumbing, assembly, setup, training, permits, inspections, or code compliance unless specifically stated in writing.

Customers are responsible for confirming that equipment is suitable for their location, electrical service, space, intended use, and local requirements before ordering.
