Great setup for biltong and jerky

I bought this bundle mainly for biltong, but I’ve already used it for jerky and dried fruit too. The trays feel sturdy, the airflow is even, and the hooks are a nice bonus instead of having to rig something up myself. It is bigger than a small kitchen dehydrator, so check your space first, but for the amount it holds it’s been worth it.

Quiet and holds way more than expected

This thing holds a lot more than I thought it would. I like that it runs pretty quiet and plugs into a normal outlet, which made setup easy. The temperature controls are simple, and the racks slide in and out smoothly. I’ve done a few batches now and the results have been consistent.

Solid machine, just make sure you have room

Overall I’m happy with it. The bundle is solid and the extra hooks are useful if you’re making biltong. My only reason for 4 stars is that it takes up more room than I pictured, so I had to rearrange my prep area a little. Other than that, it works well and feels like commercial equipment compared to cheaper dehydrators I’ve used
